Virginia Motorcyclists,

My name is Bernie Adams, I am the President of the Virginia Freedom Riders (VFR). I am a motorcyclist, a free Virginian, and a free American. I am proud to serve as President of this State Motorcyclists' Rights Organization (SMRO). I am committed to work to protect our rights as motorcyclists. We are persecuted for what we do and how we look. We are told by government what to wear when we ride. We are free Americans and free Virginians but we are not free. We will never be free if we are not politically active.

The Virginia Freedom Riders is a non-profit organization. We are a political activist organization dedicated to protecting and restoring motorcyclist's personal freedoms, liberties and individual rights. VFR will actively lobby against legislation our membership feels denies, or further restricts, motorcyclist's rights and freedoms. We will actively lobby to restore those personal freedoms that have been denied us by law.

The goals of the Virginia Freedom Riders are simple; to protect the personal rights and civil liberties of motorcyclists throughout the state. We will work with state legislators and other SMROs to make this happen. Virginia Freedom Riders does not discriminate against any Motorcyclists Rights Organization (MRO), club, organization, or group. All members are encouraged to participate in any and all activities that promote motorcyclists' rights, personal freedoms, and civil liberties. It is a policy of VFR to work closely with all MROs, clubs, groups and organizations to promote the protection of the rights of motorcyclists.

In addition, you can communicate with other motorcyclists in the freedom forums. This is a great way to stay informed, participate, and make your voice heard.

I invite you to join the VFR. Membership costs $15 a year. You will receive a patch, a membership card and a printed newsletter. By joining VFR you will be an active member in an organization that is dedicated to protecting your rights to ride as a free citizen of this great Commonwealth.
